Acclaimed author, Eric Schultz will offer some thoughts for discussion about food waste and food insecurity.   “Calling attention to the extraordinary social and environmental opportunities created by wasting less food.” (Food Foolish- the Hidden Connection Between Food Waste, Hunger and Climate Change- John M. Eric B. Schultz is the former Chairman and CEO of Sensitech, acquired by United Technologies, to which he now consults. He serves in the Partner Program at Ascent Ventures, and on the boards of the Avedis Zildjian Company, the Gettysburg Foundation, and Brown Broadcasting Service. He is a former Chairman of the New England Historic and Genealogical Society and a former Senior Warden of Trinity Church in Topsfield. Eric has authored or co-authored King Philip’s War: The History and Legacy of America’s Forgotten Conflict, Weathermakers to the World, and Food Foolish: The Hidden Connection Between Food Waste, Hunger and Climate Change . He is a graduate of Brown University and the Harvard Business School.

Eric and his wife Susan reside in Boxford and have three children, Ned, Abbey and Emily-all proud graduates of Masconomet.
